Talent is always there; conditions allow it to grow and flourish
Talent is all around us and I have a particular skill in searching for, recognizing and developing talent.
What is Talent?
There are many definitions and interpretations of talent. One basic description focuses on ‘potentially present qualities’ and the energy that the person in question receives when using that talent. A more specific definition may involve the idea that “a person’s latent talents blossom and bring pleasure in interaction with the environment.” The process of talent development has crucial factors of development within the ‘talent sum’: gift, ambition, discipline and ability.
The Game of Gifts
My core offering is the Game of Gifts, developed by Willem Glaudemans. This method of talent recognition has helped me and many others to recognize and use their talents effectively. The Game of Gifts not only helps you to discover your talents, it will also teach you how to create cooperation and balance between your talents. Additionally, you will gain clarity about which talents work best for you internally, and which are more valuable when used in the wider world. The Game of Gifts is used for adults.
When you decide to deepen your understanding of your talents with the Game of Gifts, we will work together in 3 sessions of 2 to 2.5 hours. In these sessions, I will facilitate as you identify your talents, explore the value of your recognized talents, and teach you techniques to balance the use of your talents. Our sessions will culminate in the creation of your life mission. This package is offered at €600 (excluding VAT). Just contact me for further details.
Young Talent
Adolescents between 11 and 18 years I can help with the Young Talent game. The essences are the same, but the game works with different cards and boards. The adventure of talent recognition helps youngsters in their general development, but also can lead to huge changes in motivation, focus and educational choices.
