Talent@Work

The time seems long gone when, after obtaining further education, people opt for the certainty to continue working for the same boss for forty years. The labor market and the vision on learning and development have now changed to such an extent that a new dynamic has arisen for companies and organizations in binding and captivating staff. The modern employee knows very well what is for sale in the world and makes careful considerations between money and happiness. More talent-oriented choices create an increase in ‘job hopping’ and talent recruitment.

Opportunities and challenges for employers and employees

For both employers and employees, this mobility of personnel provides many opportunities as well as challenges and issues, with which I, as a talent recognizer, can mainly help in the core. As a manager, you have the opportunities and responsibility to create the best value for your colleagues with the optimal use of resources and people. Fortunately, humans are not robots and never will be. Yet there are many places in the world where human labor is still seen in this way.

Empower others and encourage them to rise above themselves

It is not easy to stimulate and challenge your employees, so that they can function and perform optimally in the interest of your organization. Salary and fringe benefits sometimes help a little, but rarely structurally and as expected. There are many management tools, courses, reorganization methods, leadership styles, theme days and meeting scenarios available, all of which can help. But the reality is that these trajectories rarely get to the heart of the matter. If your employees feel that you are genuinely and attentively interested in their talent development, then there is only one logical outcome to discover: Everyone wins and everyone benefits. Especially if you have set an excellent example by advising a very talented colleague and helping him find a more suitable workplace elsewhere.

Everything succeeds with courage, confidence, vision and leadership

However, this requires a lot of courage, trust, vision and leadership to see these long-term effects for your organization, so that other talented employees-to-be would like to join you. Because their interest is your interest. Be pure in intention and you will always do good.

Invite me to spar

Feel free to invite me to exchange ideas about talent recognition. But maybe you’re lucky and one of your employees will take the step to start a talent recognition process with me. Then you will automatically see the results of my method.

Leaders take care of your People (John Mayer – Daughters)

…I hope, that you start to see
That treasure hunting is all what they je need
Leaders, be good to your people
Your people will act just like you
They will develop, and be autonomous
And maybe become also leaders too…
